We are of the Osaka Buikukai Lineage Aikido Dojo. We are Aikikai affiliated, however, we base our focus on the self defense aspect of Aikido. Therefore, the Buikukai style is a harder style than most Aikikai dojos. Buikukai means the Evolution of the Martial way. It was started by Kobayashi Sensei in Osaka who was a Direct Student of Morihei Ueshiba, the Founder of Aikido. Our Style of Aikido, is commonly referred to Osaka Buikukai, because it is recognized as a Tougher and more Practical style of Aikido. Our Master Sensei is Kenzo Egami, 6th Dan, who was a direct student of Kobayashi Sensei.
