I have been learning martial arts at Longs Shotokan Karate for the past 24 years

I learn something new at every class. They offer karate judo aikido kick boxing and other martial arts.

I would recommend for both young and old. It keeps you in shape. Younger people learn discipline and how to handle bullying and also stranger danger. Parents and children can learn together

It's a great place for fun and learning. Both sensi Mark and his wife Mary are both wonderful Christian people so come join in the fun!

I have taken every adult class available at Longs Shotokan (aikido, karate, judo, kickboxing, team karate, sport karate sparring) and after 5 years of being a member of this dojo, I had to finally walk away from the drama. There are so many inconsistencies and double standards at play there that it is impossible to keep track of. The schedule changes at least twice a year and the most recent schedule change cut classes down to 30 minutes, half of which is spent listening to sermon-like lectures and not even working out.

The dojo has built up my confidence and helped me be well disciplined. The instructors and my peers have been very helpful and supportive. The dojo doesn't just teach self defense but also life skills. I also like the fact that he goes to schools and teaches them. I haven't been at this dojo long but after learning what Sensi Long could teach me from months of classes at school and some research, I knew this dojo had the most to offer.

I have finally found a Karate School that treats my son (who has a disablity) with the same respect as the kids who don't! He is allowed to advance at his own pace. The instructors understand that he may never do some of the moves like a professional, but he will do it to the best of HIS ability. I highly recommend Long's Shotokan Karate!
