Martial Arts is but a small part of how one learns how a life of self discipline, self sacrifice, and dedication. This master is primarily a Buddhist Priest first, and a first class martial artist second.

If solely understanding a Martial Art of some nature, kind, or sort is your primary focus and winning a transitory MMA title is you sole focus, then this will probably not be the environment for you. If however you would like to understand the force which drives the green shoot through the flower then this school, and with particularity, this consummate instructor will do far more for your understanding of your very limited existence upon a tiny speck of a planet within an incomprehensible universe, then ten thousand hours of the most competent psychiatric analysis. The true power of any martial art is understanding - understanding yourself first; and last! The choice is yours; however, the direction you choose will ultimately be directing you. Your body will not always be young but your mind can be.

Along the way you might even learn something about China. A country which has been around for over six thousand years and has something like 1. 5 billion people [which makes it about five times the size of this country's population.

I have been coming to the school for a year now, and absolutely love it! We get to work with a Shaolin Monk from China, so our training is pretty tough, but I appreciate that, since it has made me more flexible, disciplined, and in better shape. I have also become more confident with myself, which is very important that you are. You also will gain friendships and a better lifestyle that will last you a lifetime. This is a great school, and I can't imagine my life without coming here, I have a new family, and I plan to stay at this school for as long as I can make happen! I hope to see you in class! :)

ENERGY! If you are serious about your discipline, this is the place to train. No where in the area can you find a 31st generation Shaolin Grand Master. Authentic Shaolin martial arts. It's tough and we love it!

This school has been like a second home to me, and the headmaster 31st Generation Grandmaster Shi Deru (Shawn Liu) is an amazing man. He has helped so many people learn the true nature of Kung Fu. He has been doing kung fu all of his life and sharing the knowledge of Kung Fu is his passion.

The students and the staff are great and I have developed friendships with students at the other campuses in Atlanta, New Orleans, and Thibodaux. Everyone has been amazing to me and I plan on staying here for a very long time.
