Lexington Systema is a certified Russian Martial Arts school in Lexington, VA. We offer classes for both adults and children. Women's self-defense classes, and special classes for senior-citizens are also offered on a regular basis.
Systema offers a complete self-defense and combatives system, including hand-to-hand fighting, ground fighting and grappling, defending against and using traditional and improvised weapons, and defending against multiple attackers. We also teach our students how to remain calm and in control during intense and threatening situations, ensuring they will be able to choose the best possible response to any situation.
Systema has no uniforms, ranks, or katas, and very few formalities. Our focus is providing practical, effective self-defense training for each student.
