This place was a hidden gem I found while searching kendo schools. Master Hoon Lee is quite a patient, nice, very helpful, and extremely skilled teacher who also does acupuncture. The people in classes are friendly and helpful. It's a nice small school with great learning. Quite a workout too.

Master Lee is a rare martial arts master who is able to transmit a broad and diverse skill set with an emphasis on internal chi-based development. He is a high ranking Hapkido master who greatly augments his art with Tai Chi Chaun principles and practices. He also teaches Tai Chi Chaun as a pure art by itself. He demonstrates high level chi development and can effortlessly send people flying many feet into a padded wall. He fa jinged on me in just such a way, and to my surprise, chronic pain from and old knee injury disappeared for several weeks. I believed his enery flowing through me cleared out a blockage. I never shared this with him, but it's true. Eventually with regular practice the pain disappeared permanently. I also remember a classmate who was very stiff as though there was a medical problem. Over the course of many months this person became very fluid. I can't say for sure it wasn't due to something else, but my best guess is that Tai Chi is responsible.
Master Lee is also warm and personable exuding love and compassion toward his fellow humans. I highly recommend him.
