Mr. Rick is a very respected and skilled instructor. Mr. Josh and Mr. Rick are good with one on one training, making sure your doing things right. They make sure you have the techniques down before testing. Equipment is sanitized after use.
Testing for belt advancement is a joke, everyone passes, everyone gets a trophy, no accountability to know what was taught. The coach Rick had the skills to teach it properly, but instead plays games and evidently does it for money not quality martial arts. I spent six years there with my boy forcing him to go after three years hoping as he advanced In rank that the classes would get more serious. I didn't want him to be a quitter, And i wanted him to learn self defense. What we got was a low budget, low quality cut rate karate.
They evidently closed shop here in Indy, because we have received no furtherclass notifications and I'm actually glad because i was just fooling myself and my son into thinking he's a real 2cnd degree black belt. Maybe he teaches it right in Lafayette and we just received this low budget crap he calls karate here In Indy
To fund his retirement. Thanks for closing it down because you were failing these kids terribly!
