This dojo relocated from 123 Onizuka Street (Weller Court) in Little Tokyo. It is now inside the Little Tokyo Galleria (333 S. Alameda), 2nd Floor, right by the parking structure entrance.

Kyokushin Karate is a Japanese martial arts with roots from Mas Oyama. Mas Oyama has passed away, and has transferred the torch to Matsui Kancho. Kyokushin Karate is a full contact sport. It's very different from Tae Kwon Do, Shoto Kan or Kempo.

It's not just where you send your kids to learn martial arts. It's much more than that. Children learn the art of self discipline here. They learn the importance of training hard on a consistent basis. They make new friends who are also committed to learning.

Sensei Taku is amazing! He cares about all of his students. Kyokushin Karate of Los Angeles is a home away from home. It's common for students to confide in him about everything from finding a job to addressing legal issues. This dojo provides community support that's unlike any other. You would be settling for a lower standard to enroll in any other dojo.
