Sensei Bruce is such a great teacher. He works well with all ages. I have known him for over 10 yrs. He talks with his student, not at them or down to them.

I went to this dojo reluctantly because I was under some wrong impression that it should be in a nicer area or look fancier. That is not what you will find here. What you will find here is an outstanding Sensei who has excelled in karate, loves to teach, provides a safe, fun, and challenging place to learn and grow. Sensei Bruce teaches everyone from small children to adults. He teaches at the student's level, from white belt to black belt. He teaches in a positive way. He motivates and challenges with respect. If you want to learn karate, this is your dojo. If you want your kids to learn karate, this is your dojo. Good Luck!!
This school has been around for a while. The three black belt Sensei's: Ryan Tanaka, Austin Greene and Jason Flentye (who teaches special needs kids of all ages) have karate experience for over 20 years each. If you truly want to learn full contact karate, discipline, physical fitness, build self-esteem and have fun then try out this school. First visit is free and you can see and try how it works. It's Awesome!!
