Reviews of Koryo Do School of Tae Kwon Do

I've been going to Koryo Do for over four years now and it has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. Master Delgado and Master Jose are both incredibly gifted martial artists and teachers. Every student has their own individual lesson plan, whether they are five years old or fifty. Classes are very challenging, but fun. Belt testing is very rigorous, but when you pass you know you've really accomplished something. Another great thing about Koryo Do is that it is a strong community as well as a great school.

A place to call home or like one of the students say: "my happy place". The curriculum is challenging but based on every student's strengths and weaknesses. Good workout balanced with practical applications. Everyone does care for each other and helping one another is expected. The unusual is that a class may have a family, teenagers, women of different ages and even military and at the end of the class each person was able to work on their own individual and personalized lesson plans. This is not a belt factory and those who select to go thru the ranking system do have to show their knowledge and expertise level before they are promoted. Not for those looking for a quick black belt but if looking for a life changing experience then this is your place.
