Programs & Class Schedule
Tues-Wed-Thurs. 5:30PM to 7:00PM, 7:00PM to 8:30PM (Jiu-tai-jutsu)
Every other Sat. Free Class: 1:00PM to 3:00PM (Jiu-tai-jutsu), 3:00PM to 6:00PM (Batto-jutsu/Kenjutsu) This class time is limited to space.
We are a "Real Koryu" system NOT A SPORT. Sensei is licensed in Japan and classes are taught in small groups of no more than 6 per class(per Koryu standards/and quality of instruction) and is taught in both the English and Japanese dialect. Classes will include factual martial history, culture, language, and customs of samurai (bushi) traditions coinciding within the cirriculum as well as extensive study in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Courses will include Kyusho (vital point strikes), Shime-waza (constriction techniques), Ne-waza/Tachi-waza (ground/standing techniques) and extensive Kansetsu (Joint locks) in the Jiu-tai-jutsu classes.
Batto-jutsu/Kenjutsu classes will consist of Kogusoku (grappling), drawing, cutting, parries/blocks, history, culture, parts of the sword/appraisal. Weekly handouts and training information is provided to each class.
Classes in Yari-jutsu, Shuriken-jutsu, and Hojo-jutsu will be available in the future.
