Kocho dojo provides training in a combat systems that predates the modern martial arts. The philosophy and techniques completely differ from anything that is available today. The system was created and designed for warfare rather than sparing and competing. Unlike modern martial arts, the system in kocho dojo may take decades of training before the practitioner can apply it successfully to what it was created for. It relies heavily on self development through self discipline. Rather than conforming to media's fictitious stories to make profit, kocho dojo offers a honest and less glamorous insights into a system that was created over 1200 years ago

One of the better Bujinkan dojos operating. Instructor is extremely knowledgeable and proficient, atmosphere was friendly and fees were reasonable.
Sensei is a very knowledgeable instructor. The dojo was clean and well equipped(before it was closed), a relaxed atmosphere and generally great place to train. If one is looking for a Bujinkan school this one is probably the best you'll find in Southern California.
