Michael Blitz runs an excellent school. The instruction is high quality. These people are VERY serious about making sure their students have what it takes to defend themselves against pretty much anything.

I also appreciate the "culture" of Blitz Krav Maga. Every student is an individual. Every student is pushed to succeed, but nobody is EVER made to feel inadequate just because they are small or inexperienced.

I do not recommend Blitz Krav Maga. I found the owner Mr. Blitz to be a pushy salesman who is much more concerned with making money than the progress of his students. The instruction I received was great but when it came to customer satisfaction I was not impressed. Avoid KMLI.

If there was a place outside of the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, CA designed to train civilian SEALs, Blitz Krav Maga would be it! I've joined several months ago and I can tell you the professionalism and self-defense training have taken me beyond my expectations. Because of Blitiz Krav Maga, I have a mental and physical toughness that can deal with any hostile situation.

Michael Blitz and his team of instructors are dedicated to making sure each student excel in Krav Maga. These elite warriors have the twin characteristics of compassion and competence which are needed for anyone who wants to train in an atmosphere free from instructors who promote intimidation over technique.

My comparison of Blitz Krav Maga to SEAL training is based on the rigorous testing for each belt level where you come to the end of your physical skills and fight based on mental endurance. This helps to stimulate the anxiety associated with street attacks. Blitz Krav Maga is affordable and family friendly( It has Kombat Kids training).

If you want self-defense teaching where you can move from victim to victor: Blitz Krav Maga is the venue!!!

I joined this place to mix up my workout routine. Now I am hooked. I quit the gym, solely go here for workouts. All classes have a wide variety of items and you hit the ground running. There are also great conditioning classes for any members to attend to mix it up further. The instructors are awesome and the self defense is practical. I look forward to every class.
