A “streetwise” Martial Art composed of Kempo, Shotokan, and Kong-Soo-do. The name “Kifaru” means black rhinoceros in Swahili, and the system was founded by Dr/Soke Stanford McNeal Sr. The system is affiliated with the BKF (Black Karate Federation), which was featured in the movie “Enter the Dragon” with Bruce Lee. The school is also affiliated with the Christian Karate Association. The Jefferson City location instructor, Sensei C.J. Davis began training in the Martial Arts in 1992 under Grandmaster McNeal, and has trained under other influential instructors such as Joey “Super J” Walker, Tadashi Yamashita (“American Ninja”), Sultan Uddin (“Mortal Combat:Annihilation“), Steve Muhammad and Donnie Williams “Enter the Dragon”, and Darryl Vidal (“The Karate Kid”).
