This dojo is the best you will find in the area. Not only will the student learn martial arts, but they will learn how to conduct themselves in a morally upright manner. I have learned so much and continue to grow as a person because of my instructors and peers here. Everyone here is friendly, inclusive, and ready to learn. I would recommend this dojo to anyone of any age.

This school is amazing. The instructors are serious, yet they have fun with the teachings so that you are learning and having fun at the same time. This is not the regular commercialized school that only wants to make money, they care more about you being trained properly. The training makes sense, and its simple. EPIC!

Classes are instructed in a very disciplined fashion. Great for kids. The Adult training is unparralleled. Most of the students thier have been thier for 4 years or more. Some of the kids are now 19 and older and have been thier since they were 4. No other school can compare to Kensho-Ryu. But that's only my opinion. The Instructor is 5th Degree Black Belt and conitnues to train with his instructor. Which is a very good example for all of us. The access to other instructors in Kensho-ryu (15 plus schools)presents a great oppertunity. Kensho-Ryu has over 400 years experience combined experience between school owners. Some are top competitors or former competitors, ex military and law enforcement, some are doctors and lawyers. What Kensho-ryu brings to the table is a experience that will last a lifetime for your family. As it will mine.
Kensho-Ryu not only provides excellent martial arts training but it also teaches responsibility, respect, and discipline. The chief instructor is a 5th degree black belt who has attained the level of shihan. While the students are expected to pay attention and give their all, he still makes the training fun and accessible. The other instructors expect a lot from the students as well and everyone there provides a supportive atmosphere. Some other places seem more like playgroups, but so far this dojo is focused on the students learning proper techniques, good behavior, and a little japanese as well. My child looks forward to every class. Awesome place - awesome people.
