Parents LOVE Karate West. My two daughters attended for over 10 years and earned their black belts. It was an amazing experience for them. The teachers are great with kids. If you are looking for a positive, caring environment for your kids, I highly recommend Karate West.

I started training in the martial arts 20 years ago. I started in Tae Kwon Do, but couldn't find a school I liked when I moved to the Issaquah/Sammamish area. I didn't want to switch styles and give up my belt rank, and I couldn't find a school that felt as friendly and inviting as my old school, until I came to Karate West. The staff at Karate West were, and still are, friendly, knowlegeable and compassionate. They told me I could transfer my training time so I wouldn't have to start over as a white belt, but I decided to start over anyway -- I wanted to make sure I was taught everything. The black belts here are truly black belts -- their skill level is exceptional. The kids who have achieved black belt are poised, confident and communicative. And EVERYBODY is so darn nice! The people at this school have become my family. If you are looking for a martial arts school, be sure to shop around. They're not all the same, and Karate West is definitely one of the best.

My entire family trains at Karate West. The quality of instructors and the amazing community of people make it a joy for us to train. Just recently, after 6 years of training, my son achieved the rank of black belt. He was so proud of his accomplishment and I am impressed with the life skills he learned along his journey to black belt. My girls are excited to follow in their brother's footsteps and work very hard for each new belt rank they earn. If you are looking for a place that will teach your kids karate and so much more, I highly recommend Karate West. It has been an amazing gift to our family.

What a wonderful school and community of people! My daughter and I have trained here for several years and can't imagine being any happier with the training, the staff and the life skills that are at the very core of the curriculum. Each class develops my skills and is a great workout that leaves me feeling energized for days. My daughter has gained so much confidence that transcends into her school life, especially when it comes to public speaking. I highly recommend Karate West for all the best reasons.

Karate West martial arts school is outstanding! I am extremely surprised by anything but stellar reviews of this school. I say Martial Arts School because that is what it is. A student must work hard to graduate to a new belt, all the while having a blast.

Everyone in my family has been a student of this school, and we all highly recommend it. My son learned valuable life lessons at this school - the program is fantastic for kids, as well as adults! I am so glad we found this school, and so grateful that this karate school was recommended to my family in the first place. Keep up the good work, Karate West!

After working on a wonderful charity auction that Karate West sponsored I had the opportunity to meet most, if not all, of the teachers and staff here. They are some of the finest people I have ever met. My kids are not students as of yet but in observing the classes I am excited to sign them up and they are excited to go. They really couldn't be learning from better people. It was easy to see why Karate West has been such a successful Dojo for such a long time.

Karate West is an absolutely amazing martial arts school. The staff are well-trained, talented martial artists who genuinely care about their students. The facilities are gorgeous. They have a large, flexible schedule. My children and I have trained there for years and it has become a 2nd family to us. I can't recommend it enough.
