Big rip off! Not worth the money! They trap you into signing a contract!

This place only exists to get your money. They tell you that you must buy their sparring gear in order to graduate, but they never use it!! Ever! At least not in Tiny Tigers (3-6 year olds). When kids come wearing the gear, they let them do push ups and warm up exercises wearing the bulky gear, and then have them take it off. The whole class has to run in place while the child wearing the gear has to take it all off by himself/herself. They have also told us if we do not buy their weapons that my child will not graduate. And they tell you that if you dont attend the Master Training Seminar that is held quarterly, your child will not graduate. However, this is not true! They graduate eveyone regardless of what they buy or what they can even do. You basically just have to show up. At least in the Tiny Tigers group. And I know kids who have gone there, have a black belt, and only had to break a piece of thin balsa-type wood to graduate. It is very sad.

Also, we went there because we had a coupon for 6 free classes, but they talked us into signing up because the "free" classes were already included in the discounted price of membership. What child doesn't change his/her mind and want to stop doing something? Now we are locked into a year contract at $99/mo. for two 30-min. classes per week with no refunds if you dont show up. And they keep trying to get me to upgrade to a three year contract because they say their basic program is only a trial class and you must either sign up for the Master Club or the Leadership program. These programs are $200 and $300/month respectively!! And they tell you that your child is special and would do well in those classes. Just another ploy to get your money. So are the Master Training Seminars. They push you to sign up everyone you know. And they dont work with your child to make sure they are doing the moves correctly. Most of the kids arent. If you want one-on-one instruction, well, that will cost you more. $50 for 30 min.
