My sister and I have been there for 10 years. We both got our 2nd degrees there. But once new people took over the studio has gone down hill. They don't teach respect or no technique anymore. They don't even work for your belts anymore like we used too and you can tell when they test it shows that it's poor teaching. They single kids out and don't see the potential in the real kids that have heart in it. My sister and I now go to Joshua Zimmermans studio now and it's great they pay attention to us and welcomed us with open arms. Now my sister is a Grand Champion and has won national competitions because they have worked with her and know how to teach. So don't waste you time and money that's all Smith and Huff want now these days.

For whatever reason, the general feeling about this school and any of the branches associated with it have gone down hill rapidly. As an American freestyle karate school it is generally known that these type of schools offer little more than training in the sport karate game. Not to be confused with a real traditional karate school.
But now money seems to be the only main ingredient in the schools concerns. Shame.
