The Kara Aiki Dojo is a training hall teaching Aikido, the Japanese martial art that employs, as its primary philosophy, a spirit of harmony rather than of conflict or competition. Students of Aikido learn to blend with the motion or energy of an attacker and to redirect the force of the attack, rather than to oppose it.
