KMX - Krav Maga Xtreme

We provide high quality self-defense and fitness training to the SF Bay Area!

We offer classes in Krav Maga, Cardio X, Grappling, Kettlebell, Cross Training, and TRX. Our 7000 sq ft. facility includes a full weight training gym, shower rooms, and a great, positive community to train with.

Our Krav Maga school and experienced instructors are KMG certified under Eyal Yanilov. The owner Gaby Gliksman served in the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) where he learned defensive tactics, combatives, and Krav Maga. He has extensive Judo training and competed at the highest levels in Israel alongside Israeli Olympians. Our grappling instructor James Maiz, creator of the First Responder's Best Hold, has been teaching grappling in the bay area for several years. He has coached and cornered mixed martial artists to win in the cage, and students to gold and silver medals in grappling tournaments.

KRAV MAGA - Krav Maga is THE Self Defense System for any age, shape, size, and fitness level. You will learn how to strike and defend against all common street assaults with and without weapons. Training in Krav Maga will result in the development of a more tactical approach to any situation, as well as an increase in efficiency and accuracy. Krav Maga has been proven to be the highest and most effective defense system.

YOUTH KRAV MAGA - ages 5 - 13 - From day 1, kids learn how to de-escalate life threatening situations from bully to kidnapper! Learn basic strike and evasion techniques while developing the tactical Krav Maga mindset.

STRIKE & FIGHT - *P2 + or w/ instructor approval - Designed for the intermediate Krav Maga practitioner to improve skill, form, and movement. This class will further develop the practitioner's mentality as a fighter through the focus and repetition of various combinations of defensive and combative techniques.

WARRIOR X - Wed 7pm *P3 + or w/ instructor approval - An advanced Krav Maga class with the intent to differentiate between the mindset of the fighter and the warrior. Participants will focus on various tasks, stress drills, and will be pushed to persevere and conquer any challenge. Various drills will include take-downs, defense against multiple opponents, and solving any problem in any situation.

GRAPPLING - No-gi grappling for the mat and the street! The KMX Grappling classes focus on takedowns and takedown defense, escapes, reversals, counters, joint locks, and chokes culled from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, and Sambo.

END GAME - Finish the fight! "END GAME" combines striking with grappling techniques-- taking sparring and self-defense to a whole new level.

CARDIO X- Develop your punches, kicks, and strikes while getting a therapeutic, effective strength-building, fat-burning, aerobic workout! This class will help increase your aerobic endurance and will challenge you physically and mentally.

TRX - Increase your core strength and muscular endurance!
" By utilizing your own bodyweight, the TRX Suspension Trainer provides greater performance and functionality than large exercise machines costing thousands of dollars."

KETTLEBELL - Become XTREMELY fit using Kettlebells! Develop strength, endurance, balance, and dynamic flexibility in this full-body fitness program. Become familiar with competition style lifting and proper breathing!

CROSS TRAINING - Want a class that offers it all? Work on your power, overall strength, cardio, and flexibility in this challenging workout that is sure to help you become a better athlete.

FLEX - A 30 minute class dedicated to improving flexibility and preventing major injuries many experience after working out!

BOOTCAMP - Want the ultimate beginner boost to your training? This bootcamp will focus on not just the goal of weight loss, but embracing a lifestyle change!
