I’ve been a student here for over 4 years now. Learning here has boosted my self confidence, helped with ADHD, and has kept me in great shape. This is real martial arts with real applicable self defense. Super fun with amazing teachers and would recommend it for anyone, no matter your age!

A few months ago I visited this school to watch my sister-in law test for her next belt. I was impressed with the quality of the students. I've banged around martial arts schools all of my life,as my job allows, and I have seen stuff that would scare the hair off your head!

But these guys were pretty doggone good! For the first time in my (on and off) 20 year "career", I saw beginners with just a couple months practice, doing aerial kicks, and spinning board breaks - even the kids - and more impressively, correctly answering the test judges' questions about techniques and how and when to use them - or not.

Fancy breaks are cool and all, but what really got me was the knowledge of techniques and how to use them that even the yellow belts had. That blew my mind! I was in Asheville again, this past week, and stopped by to watch for a while, just to kinda check on them, and they are even better now! I highly recommend that you go in and see these guys. Master Hughes knows his stuff!
