Jinenkan Dojo
The Jinenkan Dojo in Mahopac, New York is the only school in NY teaching the traditional arts of the Jinenkan. Developed by Retired Lt Col Fumio Manaka, the Jinenkan is a complete martial art system characterized by traditions of authentic Kobudo, the classical fighting arts of Japan. In a safe, traditional environment students train in the un-armed combative methods of Classical Jujutsu, emphasizing tactics of grappling, throwing, locking, striking and choking, while learning classical weaponry and sword discipline.
