The class if very friendly and the teachers know their material and are very dedicated to teaching each student knowledge of this great martial art. The material reflects the Japanese heritage and is very welcoming to experienced and first time students. David Boesel is an excellent Sensei and very approachable. If you seek to further your martial arts education this is one place to check out.

I'm very happy to have found this Japanese Jujitsu Self Defense. I'm a super newcomer to any martial arts and I'm a 50 year old woman who wanted to get some self defense training for my daughter and I. In a very short time, I can see the great benefits of this workout. David is an excellent and patient instructor for new students, and he has other highly trained students in the group that all help train new students. My thirteen year old daughter who has never been super into sports has totally gotten into it and we both had a great workout. It is definitely a great confidence builder and something that I hope we do for a long time.

I have been training in this dojo for more than 3 months now. We have male and female from age 12 to 52. Our head instructor is a open mind/heart Japanese Jujitsu master who open to new idea in his teaching, which makes class fun and give his technique more space to evolve into a modern style technique. I had a lot of fun and also learn a lot from this place. I like it and never miss one class.

This is a great class! We all get along well and enjoy learning. The instructors are excellent.
