Japan Martial Arts Academy
Goju Ryu means Hard and Soft System of Empty Hand. The student will be taught various skills such as strikes, kicks, sweeps, throws, stances, pressure points, balance and movement.
Karate training takes place in a formal atmosphere with an emphasis on etiquette and self control as well as physical ability. Training generally is divided into the practice of basic techniques, kata and sparring. .

Programs & Class Schedule
We offer Japanese Goju Ryu Karate
Classes run Monday through Thursday. There are two beginning classes everyday and one intermediate class on Tuesday, Wedesday, and Thursday. Beginning class Mon - Thur 4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Beginning class Mon. and Wed. 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Beginning class Tue. and Thur. 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Intermediate class is from 7:05 to 8:05.
Minimum age is 5 however training is unlimited. Adults are welcome. The student may train as many classes as they desire. A 6 month contract is requested after which the student may continue month to month. There is no initiation fee! Individual rate is $65.00 per month. Family rates are avalable. personal training is available as well.
