Japan Karatedo Organization - Carlsbad
We offer traditional Shitoryu karate. Hanshi has taught for over 40 years; he is respected worldwide as a master of this art. He has judged international tournaments at high levels. His students routinely place in top rankings throughout the US. Hanshi takes great interest in his young students and personally teaches most children's classes.
Hanshi also teaches iaido, the art of drawing and cutting with the sword. Hanshi instructs this art with the same dedication he has applied to karate. In his hands, iaido keeps its martial feel while building the student's sense of balance and poise.
