Where do I even begin? This is the saddest excuse for a "gym" that I have ever trained in. Saekson simply doesn't give a damn. He treats every student like trash (calling them fat, ugly, etc. ), sexually harasses every woman and young man that walks through the door (sometimes going as far as ass grabs), and commonly displays a complete lack of respect for students on an individual level. Not enough students show up? Saekson won't teach. He would rather get lit up at the bar next door than to provide the service that his students are paying for.
First day at the gym? You will receive no help from Saekson. Time and time again I have seen brand new students on their first day be hopelessly lost and looking to someone for some advice. Saekson chooses to ignore them. Your only hope is that one kind student with some experience will teach you the basics and show you the ropes; all the while sacrificing his own training performing a task that should be the job of the man that we're paying to do the teaching! He will also take every opportunity he can to embarrass you by taking you in front of the entire class to perform a technique and chastising you for your lack of technique and sloppiness, telling you that you suck. Isn't it the teacher's job to make sure that we have good form? Especially new students?
This may have been a decent gym in another time. That time has passed. The majority of Saekson's fighters have left him (I wonder why?) and he has no longer has any motivation to teach. He will look for any excuse that he can to NOT teach. There is a laundry list of terrible deeds that I may be forgetting, but I believe my point has been made. DO. NOT. TRAIN. HERE.
