Japan Karate-do Ryobu-kai (JKR) Northern California, Eishinkan Dojo is a Cupertino Karate Studio. We practice traditional karate with a focus on children and are dedicated to the needs of our students through the principles of self discipline, respect, focus, self confidence and perseverance. We are a non-profit, martial arts studio with a well-balanced emphasis on traditional karate and competition. In addition to reaching the black belt level, many of our top students are nationally and internationally ranked competitors.
Sensei David Kaneda is the chief instructor and head coach of the JKR Eishinkan Dojo's elite competition team and has been studying karate since 1982. He has trained in both the Japan Karate-do Ryobu-kai (JKR) and the Japan Karate Association (JKA). He has successfully coached junior and senior competitors to positions on the US National Team over two dozen times.
