The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at JIKC Hickam Dojo:
Japan International Karate Center strives to teach karate-do (the way of living through karate), to all ages and especially families. Self-defense techniques are learned with a particular emphasis on learning the principles of "respect", "consideration", and "trying hard" in all aspects of life.
Classes are held every monday and wednesday in the Mokulele Elementary School Cafeteria:
Intermediate & Advanced: 5:30-6:30pm
Beginners: 6:30-7:30pm
Minimum age generally accepted for enrollment is 6 years old, though occaionally 5 years old is accepted based on senior instructor approval.
Upon acceptance into the program, students commit to train for at least 12 months with annual renewals thereafter.
