International Academy of Martial Arts
Head instructors Vladimir Mialovski and Christian Durante have each 30 years of martial training. IAMA teaches traditional Shorin Ryu with a blend of ground fighting, passive joint manipulation, and weapons; the school is dedicated to physical and mental growth and development as well as the common ideal of self defense. Our students range from beginners here to get in shape all the way to professional fighters and competitive performers in Kara and weapons.
Sensei Mialovski specializes in physical fitness and competitive fighting, nutrition and healthy living. Sensei Durante has a background in education and child development and approaches the martial arts from a technical point. Together they create a blend of flair and deep understanding of the human body in practical application.

Programs & Class Schedule
Kids classes (under 8): Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:30 to 5:15
Mix classes (8 and up): Monday, Wednesday 5:30 to 6:45; Tuesday, Thursday 4:30 to 5:45
Adult class: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 to 8:15
Weapons class: Friday 5:30 to 6:45 ; Saturday 9:00am to 10:15am
Sparring (full contact) : Saturday 10:30am to 11:45am
