Programs & Class Schedule
Integrity Martial Arts offers a variety of classes for students of every age and rank. We have evening classes available and morning classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our curriculum follows a systemic and cumulative approach to learning; each class complements the next in a way that will build foundations to execute proper technique and drive students to achieve higher goals.
Lil' Ninjas – Lil' Ninjas is our 4 - 6 year old program. It teaches young students such skills as balance, self-control, and simple techniques to prepare them for future training. It also includes life skills development by teaching what respect, discipline, integrity, honesty, courtesy and many other important character building qualities are for young children. Various techniques will be practiced which can be used to avoid danger and be safe, including how to escape from a variety of grabs, identifying safe people to go to in a dangerous situation, and where a safe place to run can be. They will also be encouraged to learn their parents’ names, phone number and address for emergencies.
Basic – This class covers basics and beginner studies. It will teach basic techniques, self-defense, body motions and curriculum needs for a solid foundation. All ranks are encouraged to participate in this class in an effort to continue mastering the fundamentals of training. It is also an important opportunity for our future black belts and instructors to help other students succeed.
Intermediate – Intermediate classes are for Yellow belts and higher or by Instructor approval. This class covers advanced techniques, self-defense, curriculum and physical fitness. You will learn more intricate applications and board breaking.
Advanced – Advanced classes are for Purple belts and higher or by Instructor approval. Here you will learn more intense technique, extreme self-defense, curriculum and more intense physical fitness. Your skills will be put toward various applications that are meant to push you forward as you strive towards your Black Belt.
Sparring – This class is only for Yellow belts and higher or Instructor approval. We train in both the sport applications and self-defense applications of sparring. Here you will put your martial arts training into practical use and learn how to appropriately apply the techniques learned in other classes.
Weapons – This class is for Green Belts and higher or by Instructor approval. Weapons will focus on a variety of different weapons that will be studied over a single cycle period.. You must have the appropriate weapon to participate in class; borrowed weapons will not be provided. In this class you will learn to use the sai, bo staff, escrima and nunchaku. Each weapon has different techniques and forms, both beginner and advanced, by which students will develop control and hand-eye coordination through their continued training.
Black Belt & Instructor Training– This class is for students who have achieved black belt as well as those students participating in our Instructor Development program. Here you will further your martial arts training with the most advanced forms and techniques, learn how to assist in Basics and Intermediate classes and help develop and shape the techniques and applications used in our school.
Open Mat – Open mat is a class reserved for anyone who wants additional training. This time is used for students to work on material that we have previously covered and it allows students to focus on techniques and skills with an instructor at any level (excluding Lil Ninjas). Classes will be guided by an instructor and will vary in content based on the students present in class. You are not required to be in uniform in Open Mat classes unless asked by your Instructors.
