Very interesting style of Taijiquan. Good martial science and perspective. Clear explanation on structure, hidden and obvious (new frame) power training in the routines. The forms are elegant but emphasize function in martial techniques and neutralization.

Great Taiji with polished mechanics, good philosophy.

It has been a great experience private training Beijing Style Chen. The instructor moved into Chen Yu's neighborhood in Beijing, and trained there for some years in the early 2000's. Form training has been interesting, different. The instructor teaches the form with defined flex points and segmented like, with power, and raises the stance to have better core muscle rotation, in the beginning. After a few classes he lowered the stance some and smoothed everything out. Alot of emphasis on details in the form which makes the postures and transitions effective in martial applications. This is very much a martial art. The martial applications were more extreme than I thought. It is explained in a scientific way.

Authentic rare style of Martial Baguazhang.

Quality private instruction for a more practical style of Baguazhang. I was searching for a style of BaguaZhang good for self defense, less like dance, and was recommended here by a Beijing student of He Jinbao. I was only able to train for a short time here but I enjoyed my training very much ( I now work outside Texas). Very knowledgeable instructor with technical perspective on internal arts.
