Hybrid Self Defense is the only Reality Based Personal Protection school in Orlando. We specialize in "self-preservation", not martial arts. If you want an art, take up painting. We teach families and individuals how to stay alive when everything goes south.
The owner/instructor is a recent graduate of the Police Academy and a former Corrections Officer with experience in both Hi-Max and Diagnostic facilities. He is a certified NRA instructor, Level III Reality Based Personal Protection instructor under Jim Wagner and a Force on Force Simulation Safety instructor. He also has previous training/certifications with Kelly McCann, Tony Blauer and Wilderness Survival with Dave Canterbury. In addition to a background in Kembativz, Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Boxing, MMA, Wrestling and Submission Grappling.
