Hooper's Martial Arts is a family oriented training center offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults, children, and families. Our classes are perfect for competition, self-protection, physical fitness, or whatever your goals may be. Our affiliation under Nova Uniao Hawaii gives us the opportunity to train with world class Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and learn techniques from all corners of the world.
Our school has brought home its fair share of medals from tournaments around the tri-state area. Although it is not a requirement that our students compete, we do support and stand behind anyone who chooses to do so and we will all work very hard to prepare for each person to be ready.
Head Instructor Clint Hooper began his martial arts career in 1994 in Kenpo Karate. Clint holds a 5th degree black belt under Bobby Ragsdale in this discipline. Clint then in 2003 began his formal training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In 2015 Clint received his black belt from Andrew Sabens who is a black belt under Renato "Charuto" Verissimo(UFC fighter BJ Penn's Jiu-Jitsu instructor). Clint has been teaching Martial Arts for the better part of 15 years.
