I have been training here 11 years and it is a good place to learn street ready self defense. Not a belt factory.

Very fun but we also get work done such as self defense, grapling, eye and hand cordination, and more. The instructors are very friendly. The instructors help you with what you are learning and so is everyone else. This class will help you with protection and strength.

Ken Aitken Has No Ground Game

I'm a white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but have been training for about 3 months from watching Gracie School's at home program, so I wanted to get some training in at a dojo. I take the trial over at Havasu Martial Arts Academy. Ken Aitken was saying he had an 8th degree black belt, but he had zero take down defense and I tapped him in 30 seconds. If you're an 8th degree black belt in anything, you should last longer than this bum.
Master Ken is well versed in his craft. With a great attitude, he makes class educational but fun. Anyone looking for good self defense training should check this place out. Rates are fair and you don't have to buy a ton of extras.
