The head instructors are on the floor with you all the time. No Jr belts teaching classes. Great location and a wonderful mix of students.

The instructors at this karate dojo are courteous and professional. The quality of martial arts instruction is high. The facility is neat and clean and the atmosphere is positive and family-like. I also like that they involve themselves in community events by doing demonstrations and parades. I highly recommend this dojo.

Oneonta Karate - not the same as the others

This dojo is part of Fumio Demura's Genbu Kai Karate. Formed in 2016 from students who wanted a clean professional dojo where students could learn and grow together.
You can learn Karate, weapons, sword and other arts. They are located in the Southside Mall in Oneonta NY
A wonderful and welcoming dojo to students of all abilities and talents. Sensei Brooke is a teacher of teachers. She is skilled, communicative, precise, patient, and kind hearted with a very even temperament. Patience and perseverance. Dedication and success to and for her students. Nourishment for the soul and challenges for mind and body. Timeless. Ageless. Her skill is flawless and her ability to teach this art is amazing and rewarding. Highly recommend
