Studied Kickboxing for 3 months as part of a p/e credit for college. I choose kickboxing for the purpose of getting cardio fit and learning some self defense. We never had the same instructor more than two weeks in a row. Its seemed that they had no plan/guideline that they follow. I honestly felt i had not became a better boxer than i had been on day 1. They only benefit was I felt more cardio fit. They never really focus on basics and they try to show you all those fancy moves. We never spared so what we were showed was never used. I can not comment on karate side of Haltermans.
