The teaching at this dojo is wonderful, supporive and knowledgeable. The aikido is a gentle but assertive style, suitable for any age. Attacks are real and controlled, powerful enough to learn from but not overwhelming for beginning students. The focus is on learning the core essentials of aikido: balance, relaxation,flowing movement, and good breathing.
