Made up martial arts

This guy claimed some amazing things in his training when I stopped in and met. Many of the things he said just weren't really adding up so I researched him. What I found out was he bought rank through a known give anyone rank mill called the WBBB and his system was basically a bunch of junk thrown together yet he is not master level in any of what he teaches. Don't waste your time and money here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for self defense or a real martial arts program. The classes were basically all sport type of training and I found out from several other martial arts sources that they teach a made up sport system that is not even real.

A good investment for solid self defense techniques.

I’ve had my children enrolled in this mixed martial arts school for the past four years. The instructors focus on finding the balance between self-defense and more traditional Katas. As a veteran police officer, I’ve been impressed the instructional techniques. My children have developed solid self defense abilities balanced with a respect for their appropriate use. While the katas and forms aren’t really a priority for me, they do develop the muscle memory required for instinctive self protection. The practical application of the skills with interactive games (for the younger kids) and sparring, put the techniques into practice in unique and interesting ways. For students who are interested, this dojo offers opportunities for advancement and tournament competition (often achieving multiple awards), but for those who just want a foundational self defense class that teaches respect in a kid friendly atmosphere, this is the school.

Completely fake martial art system being taught, no real rank certifications and the training was totally boring, disorganized and not worth it. My kids hated it after two weeks. We went to one in Bryan that is downtown and it was 100x better plus a real martial art system linked directly to Okinawa!

Classes were boring, lack luster and not worth it for me and my kids. Went elsewhere and it was 100 times better.

Hills martial arts is an amazing place to be. I have learned so much there in the past years. To learn their you have to be disciplined and want to be there. Everything you do in the Dojo you have to earn by being respectful and a hard working student, Nothing is ever just given. In this dojo karate becomes a big part of your life. In this dofo We bond with eachother and help eachother out. If your ever looking for A dojo to go to I would STRONGLY suggest this one, because you learn so much about defending yourself and much more. Also in this dojo we learn how to be respectful to others and to yourself. I love this place so much its my favorite place to be and im glad this is and will always be my dojo.
