A comprehensive self-defense curriculum created in 1978 by former forensic homicide investigator John Perkins focusing on Adaptation, Improvisation and Survival rather than memorized techniques or sportive fighting. It promotes exponential learning in both beginning and advanced students. It is based on concepts from World War II Combatives, Native American fighting, Combat Tai Chi, and the ancient Greek art of Eleftheri Pali. As seen in the NY Times.
