Greenwich Kempo provides an enriched martial arts learning environment that has helped countless students get ahead. Founded in 2013, our school is located in Cos Cob, Connecticut and reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area. We have over 100 students and 3 full-time instructors, eager to learn, create and grow together.
Sensei Jonathan Simon is the Owner, Headmaster and Chief Instructor of Greenwich Kempo. Sensei Simon is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (2010) and a Master of Arts (2011), both in philosophy and classical studies. Sensei Simon is nationally ranked at 2nd Degree Black Belt in Chinese Kempo. In addition to his martial arts experience and philosophical training, Sensei Simon is also well-versed in ancient military history, comparative mythology, and Eastern philosophy.
