Pros: Excellent instruction and a respectful and disciplined atmosphere makes this the best Dojo your going to find outside of Japan.
Cons: Place is a little small and the ceiling is low in some places. They could upgrade to a bigger place if they charged an arm and a leg for membership, but I for one am grateful for this and am just fine with the current location. (It's in a nice area for just taking a stroll)

I have trained at this dojo for eight years now. This number and its implied experience however, pales in comparison to the long standing and dedicated careers of my instructors. "We stand on the shoulders of giants."
My experience with keiko at this dojo has been marked by intense elation and humbling sorrow. Ultimately, it defines who I am and I would not have it any other way. I see and believe that this path is enlightened. The spirit of the dojo and the ryu are deep and powerful, not unlike the techniques contained therein.
Leave your ego at home. Put your body on the mat. Sweat and bleed GFB.

This is no day care with lots of kids running around. A very serious place to study and really learn. I highly recommend.

Vigorous work outs to thought provoking discussions. You gain more than martial skill through the pursuit of Kenjutsu.
Great Falls Budokan is a serious martial arts dojo. The instructors are excellent. All of them being totally dedicated to the art and willing to work closely with new students. I appreciate the fact that there is a high ratio of senior instructors to students. I also like that there is a social aspect to this dojo with after class activities from time to time.
