It's got the most honorable and respectable instructors I've been around.

It's a great workout.

It's got great comradery.

It's really fun.

It's makes you more confident being able to do so many amazing things with your body to protect yourself and others without actually really hurting someone else.

It also teaches you how to take better care of your body, especially a middle aged person, such as what to eat and how much.

I hardly ever have back pain anymore because my core muscles are so much stronger. I used to take about 11 different medications, and now after about eight months I don't have to take any more medications. It''s unbelievable.

After completing my 10 day free trial I signed up for a year contract. 2 months in and I do not regret my decision at all (I go twice a day). I've been considering training BJJ for several years now but was always nervous about going to a gym and just getting crushed by people. Doesn't happen here. You start off in basic classes where you are learning the moves. You do not need to spar unless you want to. Chet and Cameron are excellent instructors; patient and knowledgeable. The class sizes are usually fairly small that they are able to key in on you if you are having issues. You will see some blue and purple belts in the beginner classes. Most of them are really good about helping you out as well. They've been where you are! Overall, if you have considered BJJ and in the Fort Wayne area, there is no reason not to swing in before a class and give it 10 days.

My daughter has been taking classes here for about half a year. Cameron Price is great with the kids. He makes it fun for them, while teaching them real skills. I think my daughter has really grown from the experience, and I hope that she will be training here for years to come. They also try to teach the children lessons in character and good manners. I don't typically bother writing reviews unless something truly impresses me, and I have really been very happy with Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Fort Wayne.

Granted I'm an instructor there (so I may be a little bias;) but this is the nicest martial arts facility I have ever been in besides the Gracie Academy headquarters! We focus on creating an atmosphere conducive to learning and the structured curriculum is top-notch.
