Goldsboro Okinawa Karatedo
The Goldsboro Okinawa Karatedo is a traditional karate school, teaching Ryukyukan Shorin-Ryu as taught in Okinawa by Hanshi Koei Nohara and the Okinawa Karatedo Shorinryu Ryukyukan Karate Kobudo Federation. Our dojo hosts Hanshi Nohara annually for the NC-Okinawa Ryukyukan International Tournament and Seminar. We are also members of the AAU Karate Program. Our National Competition team participates in state, regional, and AAU Karate Nationals.
Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Goldsboro Okinawa Karatedo:
Programs & Class Schedule
Monday - Thursday 5:00pm to 8:30pm
Saturday 10:00am to Noon
Beginners (6-12 yrs old) - Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Intermediates (6-12 yrs old) - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Shisa Club (4-5 yr olds) - Wednesdays 5:15pm to 6:00pm
Adults (13 yrs old & up) - Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00pm to 8:00pm
We also have specialized classes for Kumite and Kobudo, contact Sensei Jason for more information.
