What an amazing place.... Spotless, huge, incredibly beautiful.
And the classes are awesome.... Endurance rocks and I train 3-4 times a week now, taking general class.
I'm so happy to have this in Marin County!

This school is such a breath of fresh air... i didn't have to sign a contract and $100 for as many classes as I want to take. I didn't even bother taking a trial class, I just signed up and starting training and never looked back.
I'm a Nidan in Kyokushin Karate so I've been around a bunch of dojos, and I have to say this is the best one yet. Highly recommended.

I have a boy and a girl in their kids program and they love it :) Very happy, and a steal at just $100 a month.... I think my kids probably do 12 classes a month there, maybe 15.... what is that, like $7 or $8 a class? Amazing!

I've trained at lots of dojos and never really stuck with one (unfortunately -- partly me, partly my job keeps moving me).
But.... THIS is the place to study karate.
It's amazing.... the quality of the teachers, especially Sensei, is amazing. They have deep knowledge, and they are great with both new students and with more experienced students. I've learned stuff about basic techniquees that I've been doing for years and I've learned brand-new things in class.
The most important thing though is that this is the "real" thing.... I love meditation class and I really love all the philosophy of karatedo that is explained, and endurance class is AWESOME!
I don't have kids, but I know the kids program is really strong too.... and without a doubt, this is the biggest and most beautiful dojo I have ever seen.
If you're in Marin County, or just in the Bay Area... this is where you should train. Simple as that.
Tucked away in San Rafael, is this most unbelievable space to train, meditate, and become a more self aware person. The instructor, who is a fourth degree black belt, is a patient, skilled and an incredibly gifted teacher. I've never experienced karate this way. My kids have gained so much from the programs they offer. And I love the no contract policy. They don't try to force anything on you. What a wonderful place for adults and children alike. And the dojo is gorgeous!! So new and clean and welcoming.
