it is terrible place to go study martial arts it is a place full of bullies, liars, drama, full of lazy people some blue belts and up can barely even do it, some of the black belts are just lazy, and its full teenage couples kissing and touching each touching eachother it made me very unconfortable, honestly I wouldn't recommend this dojang to anyone it's honestly just one big high school.

I attended GFTKD for over a decade and can say with the utmost confidence that it is one of the best places to study TKD in the state. Grandmaster MacDonald is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The black belt instructors are dedicated and classes are usually able to have 2 or 3 lower ranks with each instructor, so instruction is able to be focused on what students need. And while there is certainly no pressure to go to tournaments and compete, it is certainly a testament to the instruction quality that the school regularly has students medal in local tournaments as well as the New York Open.
