Gladstone Martial Arts Academy

At Gladstone Martial Arts Academy we teach Okinawan karate specifically Ryukyu Kempo. We teach kata, bunkai, and weaponry. Techniques are a combination of striking techniques and joint/nerve manipulation grappling. We teach 12 weapons ( wooden sword, bo, jo, tanbo, nunchaku, sai, tonfa, kama, chizikunbo, eku, nunti bo, and manji sai).

The head instructor has over 20 years of training and teaching in Ryukyu Kempo. Other instructors with the school have at least 7 years training and teaching karate.

Programs & Class Schedule

We accept students that are 6 years of age and older.
Kids classes 5:00 pm on Monday thru Thursday
All ages classes are at 6:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am
Other classes are being developed for 7:00 pm

We do NOT USE CONTRACTS! Everything is month to month.
