Owners/Instructors:
Grand Master Bucky Norman 9th degree black belt and Jennifer Norman 5th degree black belt.
GM Bucky Norman began his martial arts training in 1979 with Grand Master Georg Iberl. He is Grand Master George Iberl’s senior student and Chief Instructor. During the past 35 years, Grand Master Norman has helped teach numerous self defense and weapons seminars. During his competition career, Grand Master Norman competed in karate tournaments doing weapons and open hand kata and kumite (fighting). GM Norman and Sensei Jen have also trained with Dr. Maung Gyi, founder of the American Bando Association and with Grand Master S.L. Martin of the IFCMA & Green Dragon Kuo Shu Kwan
On May 19, 1995 Grand Master Norman was awarded Instructor of the Year from Georg Iberl’s Karate Federation and was inducted into the OIKKA Hall of Fame on June 19, 2001.
Sensei Jennifer Norman began her training with Grand Master Georg Iberl in February of 2002.
Jennifer has competed in tournaments in performing weapons and open hand kata as well as kumite (fighting).
Jennifer received her certification as an ISSA certified Youth & Adult fitness trainer and fitness nutrition.
Jennifer and Bucky are members of Grand Master Georg Iberl’s Karate Federation and the Okinawa Isshinryu Karate & Kobudo Association.

Programs & Class Schedule
Classes:
Kids & Youth Karate
This very enriching program provides younger kids and youth a great mixture of martial arts, healthy exercise and fun activities to help with skills such as respect, discipline, paying attention and increased focus on school and homework at any grade level.
Teen & Adult Karate
We specialize in fun martial arts programs that can provide a refreshing well rounded approach for helping teens and adults improve life skills such as increased self-esteem, greater self-confidence, improved focus, enhanced work performance and physical fitness.
We accept students as young as 4 years of age, with no age limit for adults. For the children classes ages range from 4-11 years of age and adults are 12 years of age and older.
Children class are one hour. The first half hour is warm ups, calisthenics, stretching and karate basics such as kicking and punching. Then students take a break for a few minutes, then the second half hour is sparring, katas, basic self defense and/or kicking/punching heavy bags.
Adult classes are 2 hours. The first hour is warm ups, calisthenics, stretching and karate basics. Between the two hours, students take a 5-10 minute break, then the second hour consists of self defense, sparring, katas and/or kicking/punching heavy bags.
Every class varies slightly however most classes are run very similar. To learn karate you must repeat the same motions of kicking and punching over and over in order for them to be second nature. If you are ever in a situation where you need to defend yourself against an attacker, you want to be able to react and not have to think about how to defend yourself. This is why we repeat many of the self defense moves over and over again. You want to be able react and not have to think about how to defend yourself. $10.00 OFF First Month For New Students Of All Ages
Adult Classes: $ 65.00 per month (three classes per week).
Children’s Classes: $50.00 per month (two classes per week).
