Both my son (6) and I have been studying bjj here for over 6 months here under Wallace and Chris. They are both great instructors, great attention to detail, and take the extra time needed when any of the students need assistance with a technique.
Speaking as a parent, I can say this is a great school and martial art for children. A safe and fun environment.
Great experience for any age.

I have been training with Mr. Wallace for about three months now, and in that time my life has completely changed. I am healthier, happier, passionate, and much more humble now. He has a great work ethic and attitude towards martial arts. Also, he is amazing with kids. The best part about his class though is that it is just fun.

It was my pleasure to meet Wallace and visit Gator Family BJJ last year while on a business trip in Deland. As a visitor, I am not always sure what I am walking into stepping onto someone else's mat but Wallace made me feel right at home. His hospitality and the welcoming atmosphere of the school were great and his students reflected the same enthusiasm. It was a blast and I look forward to visiting again the next time I am in Deland!
