GKR Karate
GKR Karate is the largest traditional Japanese karate club in the world! GKR stands for Go-Kan-Ryu and is a blend of Goju Ryu and Shotokan. Founded in 1984 by Kancho Robert Sullivan, we have over 40,000 students training world-wide. We include kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring) in our curriculum. We have a tournament team and compete 3-4 times per year. One of our fundamental principles is that karate is for everyone, young and old! So come and try a free class, we guarantee you'll love it!
