Horrible place for a kid

Feb 21 2018 by T (Former Student with 1 - 3 Years Experience at this school)

Teachers use fear and intimidation on students and parents. Chief would get highly skilled students to beat on those he deemed weak. He even would corner parents and try to shake them down for donations. I saw him smack his toddler niece down once. Fuquan Brown is a bully who hides behind his badge and gun. Keep your distance from him and this school.

A good place to learn discipline and self defense.

This school shows children how to defend themselves when needed to and shows them discipline. The cheif is good at what he does and has given all lb of his students a chance in this harsh world. I think his methods are flawless and I hope to go back once more to observe and possibly learn more in his school.

We enrolled my step-son at the age of 4. That was 4 months ago. He truly enjoys the class. They are disciplined and focused and the changes in him is very noticeable. Now he is 5 and a top contender. I'm looking forward to our youngest joining next month. She's 3 now & she's excited. Myself and my 13 yr old are next!!! Thanks to All the instructors, I know my children will be confident and able to take care of themselves away from us.

Terrible Place For A Young Person

Chief uses fear and anger to fuel his students.

One of his sons was nearly beaten to death, and he told the hospital to let no one see him because his son was out looking for work instead of attending school that day. The man is a monster. I have seen him beat his toddler aged niece down for running around and making noise (like most kids her age do). Parents beware, he will try to convince you he is making your kid disciplined, I saw him make another kid (who was having personal family issues) fight a bunch of skilled people including his son. He let the kid get beaten near to death, and told him to tell everyone he fell if he was asked about his broken nose and bruises. He also tells students if someone "comes at you" then they are to take them out. He threatens kids and wipes out those who he deems "weak". If you want your child to be disciplined do it on your own or put them in a sport like basketball or football. Keep them as far as you can from this man and his program.
