Reviews of Full Moon Tai Chi

When I first became interested in Tai Chi, I thought it would be a good form of meditation and a great non-impact exercise. I never expected that I would get so many other benefits that could only be gained by having a Si Fu like Pete Voll. My husband and I joined the class together. We both thoroughly enjoy every class. I had only a small notion that Tai Chi had applications. I had no idea that these applications can be used to in defense against any martial art. We love learning the movements and then understanding how they can be used. Understanding the applications helps you feel and direct the chi. The corrections Pete gives us on our moves also help us to understand how the energy moves or does not move through us. Pete is a very knowledgeable and energetic. He helps his students overcome and/or work with their limitations. Overall, I have gained more confidence, my posture is better,my balance is better, my mind is clearer, I am more in tune with my body and I am also learning how to defend myself.

Studying with Pete Voll is an outstanding experience. He illustrates T'ai Chi moves clearly and helps each student with correct alignments. He's very willing to explain when someone is confused. He works with everyone to make sure they accomplish the move and repeats the move until everyone understands it. He understands that some people have limitations and helps them to adapt. He has studied many martial arts forms with various masters and that knowledge enhances his teaching.
